AdvanTech® Flooring and Sheathing VIP+ Performance
Most construction grade panels and engineered strand products available today are manufactured under Voluntary Product Standard PS 2. Since PS 2 is a performance standard rather than a property standard; published design capacities for PS-2 panels are based on the “global” property database of commodity panels that have qualified under this standard.
Huber Engineered Woods has taken steps to manufacture AdvanTech Flooring and Sheathing panels with design strength and design stiffness capacities beyond those required by PS-2. AdvanTech VIP+ Performance panels have design values that are recognized by ICC-ES. These values are published in ER-1785 and can be viewed at

AdvanTech VIP+ Performance is a designation for HEW’s structural use panels that have Building Code recognized design values, ICC ES Evaluation Report ER-1785.
VIP+ Performance designation varies by mill and thickness.
